President – Aisha O. Dew

 

For more than a decade Aisha Dew has been a successful political operative and leader in Mecklenburg County and North Carolina.  She is former Chair of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party and has played active leadership roles on local, state and federal elections. Aisha was instrumental in winning over 30 races as chair of the party and as a campaign staffer for numerous campaigns.

 

Aisha Dew, a graduate of Salem College who also attended Wake Forest University and Yale University School of Drama as apart undergraduate studies. She obtained a degree in Arts Administration.

Melissa McDaniel
​

Melissa M. McDaniel is an entrepreneur, marketing professional, and community organizer. She earned a degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and has a strong background in education, event management, and marketing.

 

Her company, Thriving Ivy Unlimited, helps small businesses and organizations meet their performance goals through live events, strategic marketing, and community outreach. She has been a key contributor to the growth of national companies such as CBS Radio and Thriving Ivy Unlimited’s client list includes political candidates, activists, and progressive organizations that promote social change and human rights.

 

Melissa has worked on multiple campaign teams and as a field organizer for MoveOn.org.  She is also an accomplished choreographer and has over 20 years of experience as a dance educator.

Rotrina Campbell

 

Rotrina Campbell has over 10 years of experience in branding, marketing, and consulting small businesses with creative minds. She received her BA from Johnson C. Smith University in Music and Business Administration in 2006 and her MBA from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration in 2013.

Rotrina started her career as an intern for Ken Harris & Associates Law Firm in 2005 while attending Johnson C. Smith University. As a legal intern for Ken Harris &Associates, Rotrina was able to connect and work as the assistant to Theresa Majeed. Theresa Majeed was the owner of Majeed Consulting & Development Group. As the assistant to Ms. Majeed, Rotrina had the opportunity to gain hands on experience with marketing, branding and consulting small business through organizing events, analyzing marketing trends and brand positioning, product development, creating promotional material for events and/or clients, tracking social media/e-blast interaction, and tracking customer satisfaction. Rotrina started Shades of Personality, LLC in 2012. Since then, Rotrina has been a main contributor in the launch of several businesses in the Charlotte area.

Jessica Findlan

 

Jessica Findlan has 10 years of experience in digital marketing, specializing in email marketing, social media, website design, and analytics. Shortly after receiving her BA of Mass Communications from the University of South Florida in 2004, she went to live in New York City. Here, she got to worth with companies such as American Express, Ann Taylor, Salesforce, Cheetah Digital, and more.

She moved to Charlotte 4 years ago and has lead the email marketing teams of Rack Room Shoes and Lowe's Home Improvement. She has been working with the Dew Group since 2018. 

TJ Broadnax

 

TJ Broadnax is an advertising veteran with over 20 years of experience in the industry. TJ has been deeply involved in nearly every advertising medium and has consulted with hundreds of businesses to create successful brands, build awareness, drive traffic and increase sales. A graduate from the University of Georgia, TJ started his career in radio sales in Birmingham, AL, and has worked in the Atlanta market and well as here in Charlotte. Upon moving to Charlotte, he worked with top tier media outlets such as Beasley Media, I-Heart Media and Spectrum Reach. He is an expert in media buying and past clients include McDonald's, Budweiser, and the Charlotte Hornets to name a few. He has also done many political media campaigns, most recently Vi Lyles for Mayor of Charlotte. 

 

TJ has been married to his wife Tammy for 15 years and have two beautiful children, Sydney 11 and Joshua 10.
